T&Cs

These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the sale of mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and accessories (“Products”) by JD Mobile (“we”, “our”, “us”) to customers (“you”, “your”). By purchasing from JD Mobile, you agree to these T&Cs.


1. Product Types

1.1 New Devices – Products sold as new are original, unused, and come with manufacturer’s warranty unless stated otherwise.
1.2 Second-Hand / Refurbished Devices – Products sold as used, refurbished, or pre-owned are fully tested for functionality. Cosmetic imperfections may exist and are disclosed where possible.


2. Orders and Payment

2.1 Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed.
2.2 We accept cash, card payments, and approved financing options.
2.3 All sales are subject to availability. We reserve the right to cancel an order if the product is unavailable.


3. Returns & Refunds

3.1 Cooling-Off Period:

  • For online purchases, you have 14 days to cancel the order in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, provided the product is unused and in original packaging.
    3.2 In-Store Purchases:

  • Returns and refunds for new devices are accepted within 7 days of purchase if the product is defective or not as described.

  • Returns for second-hand devices are only accepted if the product is not as described or defective on delivery.
    3.3 Exclusions / Void Returns:

  • Returns are not accepted for:

    • Opened software, SIM cards, or digital content.

    • Physical damage, water damage, or misuse.

    • Products where serial numbers have been removed or tampered with.


4. Warranty

4.1 New Devices:

  • Covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, typically 12–24 months depending on the brand.

  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects only.
    4.2 Second-Hand Devices:

  • Covered by JD Mobile’s limited 3–6 month warranty, as stated at the time of sale.

  • Warranty covers hardware malfunctions verified by JD Mobile technicians.
    4.3 Warranty Void Conditions:

  • Warranty is void if:

    • The device is physically damaged (cracks, drops, liquid exposure).

    • Repairs are attempted by unauthorised service providers.

    • The device is tampered with, including unlocking or jailbreaking in ways not recommended by the manufacturer.

    • Serial numbers or IMEI numbers are altered or removed.


5. Liability

5.1 JD Mobile is not responsible for:

  • Data loss during repairs or returns. Customers should back up their data.

  • Consequential or incidental damages arising from device usage.
    5.2 Our liability is limited to replacement, repair, or refund as described above.


6. Governing Law

These T&Cs are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in the UK.


7. Acceptance

By purchasing from JD Mobile, you acknowledge that you:

  • Have read and understood these T&Cs.

  • Agree to the limitations and conditions stated herein.
